Allow Calculation Times Start Time Based on Time > 24 hr

Summary: Enable defining a calculation start time based on a time from start (can be > 24 hrs, e.g., T = 82 hrs), instead of a clock time (has to be 00 hrs to 23 hrs) (see attached figure).

Model Setup Information: Our model has 7-day (168 hrs) demand patterns. The shape of the diurnal changes depending on the days of the week (i.e., peaks occur at different times of the day, notably on weekends vs weekdays), hence we are unable to directly apply a single multiplier to the entire demand pattern.

Goal: We have determined that 10:00am on Day 4 (i.e., T=82 hrs) is the timestep where diurnal demands are closest to the average. We want the available fire flow run to give us the available fire flow (AFF) at that specific timestep (T=82 hrs).

Current Workaround:

  1. Modified our demand patterns so they are only representative of Day 4.

  2. Modified initial settings so that tank levels and pumps ON/OFF are representative of levels and status at T=82 hrs in an equivalent EPS run.

  3. Setup the time settings to run the EPS snapshot at 10:00am.

Our hope was that we could setup a start time at T=82 hrs directly from the Calculation Times > Start Time setting, however I am restricted to entering a Start Time <= 23 hrs.
