HAMMER currently runs batch computed scenarios sequentially. For complex models with multiple scenarios this often results in computations running overnight or even over several days to complete a batch of several scenarios.
If possible, could the batch computer option in HAMMER assign each scenario to a single thread, and run them concurrently rather than consecutively? This could greatly reduce computation time for batch scenarios (noting the results file may be large for complex models with many batches and this may cause an issue).
Would love to see this feature implemented if possible.

Please also consider this for WaterGEMS. Although those calculations are often much shorter (2-4 min. maximum), we do however often have to run 5 to 10 design variants. Having the option to batch compute these using multi-threading would also save alot of time.
I would suggest that even for a single scenario, if there is a way to run it with multi-threading to expedite its computation time that would be great. Sometimes we need to run a large network with multiple options, and constant tweaking of parameters to find an adequate solution and it can get frustrating if every run or simulation takes 30 minutes or more.
