When globally editing pipe material in WaterCAD (using flextables -->pipe), the current option allows you to type in the name of the material, but the associated pipe properties are not updated. It would be convenient if you could globally edit pipe material and the associated pipe properties (i.e. coeff. of friction, manning's n value) would auto update with the change in material.
It might be possible to do this using the Engineering Library approach. Bentley could change the Material field from field type text/string to a dropdown menu that displays the materials from the material library... Friction coefficient might be tricky in this case, since that can change over time because of biofilm/degradation/corrosion etc.
